RCCC GROUP RIDES
Roues Chaudes CC currently offer a number of bunch and training rides across the week. All of our rides leave from Cranked Cafe on Oxford Street in Leederville. Members will also regularly meet in Leederville on Sunday mornings to ride out to races. See our Facebook page for details.
The club is also affiliated with a number of coaching services who offer training and development rides catering for both men, women and juniors.

Saturday Juniors Ride
As part of our new juniors program we are introducing a new juniors bunch ride.
The ride leaves Cranked at 6.30am with an aim of getting back to the cafe by 8.00am for a hot / iced chocolate. Any young rider is welcome but you do need a road bike.
The aim of this ride is develop skills (riding in a bunch, following wheels, rolling through etc.), but we do want to have an emphasis on safety and having fun.
Riders do not have to be members of RCCC and parents are welcome to tag along.
We will post route details shortly.
Details on our various junior programs are available here:

Thursday Morning Fast Ride
The ride leaves Cranked at 6.00am for a fast river loop with the option of continuing on through Shelley. Average speed can be in the mid to high 30's.
There are sprint points at Port Beach in Fremantle and at the end of Shelley.
This is a fast ride and can get quite big. Recommended for experienced bunch riders with a reasonable level of fitness.
The ride finishes back in Leederville for a coffee at Cranked. We are looking at adding a group for less experienced riders that will leave immediately after the fast bunch.
Saturday Morning Ride
This ride leaves Cranked at 6.30am. This ride is more controlled with an emphasis on skills development and staying together.
There are re-group points at Port Beach Fremantle, at the end of Burke Drive and at The Raffles. Riders have the option of continuing on through Shelley. Sprint points at Port Beach and at the end of Shelley and Mounts Bay Road.
Whilst the pace on this ride is faster we still have regular re-groups and work hard to maintain a smooth pace. This is the ideal ride to build your bunch riding confidence and your fitness.
